The National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evang Chinedu Obigwe, has called on opposition party leaders to desist from twisting facts and embellishing lies, noting that Governor Willie Obiano was ready to cuddle and work with them for the development and growth of Anambra state.
He said that the propagation of lies would only bring disunity, hatred and retard the developmental set goals for the state. “Let’s work together as one and achieve greatness for our dear Anambra state irrespective of party affiliation”, he said.
Obigwe disclosed this via a press release issued to newsmen on Wednesday morning. According to him, “My attention was drawn to an article published in a daily newspaper which was credited to one Mr. Chamberlain Njoku. In the stated article Mr. Chamberlain was quoted to have said that, “Anambra election might have been free but definitely not fair.”
“On that note I say that Chamberlain was wrong to have uttered such words without first consulting either the observers of the election or INEC because for so many people, the November 18th election was one of the observed and ever mentioned free and fairest election conducted since the creation of Anambra state”, he said.
He equally alleged that Oseloka Obaze ran his campaign on falsehood and left Anambra electorate with the only option of using their vote to reject his falsehood.

“Oseloka Obaze lost the November 18th governorship election to Governor Obiano because he does not possess the required electoral value to unseat a performing Governor like Obiano.
“This press release was a reaction to an article that was authored by Chamberlain Njoku and published in Vanguard newspaper in page 33 of 11th December 2017.
“In the article Mr. Chamberlain was quoted to have said that Anambra election might have been free but definitely not fair.
“See! Oseloka Obaze ran his campaign on falsehood and left Anambra electorate with the only option of using their vote to reject his falsehood.
“It would have been a commission of political suicide mistake for Anambra electorate to vote for Oseloka Obaze because he was on a mission to assuage Mr. Peter Obi’s ill feeling over Governor Obiano’s refusal to pay him the 7.5billion naira he demanded from him. .
“Since the inception of democracy in Nigeria the November 18th governorship election was unarguably not just free and transparent but the fairest in all ramifications.
“Twist of fact will not help Anambra opposition leaders but joining Governor Obiano’s moving train for the better the lives of Ndi Anambra would”, he finally said. Vanguard
