McLord Obioha is a renowned international journalist and a former reporter with the Nigerian Television (NTA) Channel Six, Aba Abia State. Throughout his journalistic career, he has anchored and covered very important news stories and events. He was the anchor of a half an hour investigative news magazine, “A Matter of Truth at NTA. Aba. He was also the NTA Chief House Correspondent of the Imo State House of Assembly where he anchored the news program “From the Assembly“. Mr. Obioha, is a graduate of Morehead State University Kentucky, USA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Journalism and Radio Television and later obtained a Master’s degree in Journalism from the same institution. In 1996, he became the first journalist to publish a Nigerian monthly newsmagazine in the United States called The Nigerian & Africa. In 2000, he added a sister publication, African Newsreel. In 2005, he received a Citation of Merit from the then Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion, Jr. for an outstanding Community Service to his people in the USA. In 2000, Mr. Obioha entered into Who’s Who in America 54th edition. A staunch member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists he is also a Knight of St. Christopher (KSC). He holds the prestigious Nze Title of Akpokuodike Nke Mbu n’Owerre Nkworji, Nkwerre Local Government Area.
Tessy Obioha graduated from Morehead State University, Kentucky with a BA and MA in Journalism and Communications. Upon graduation in 1990, she received an outstanding International Student award in Communication. She is the first Nigerian woman to publish a newsmagazine for Nigerians in America, The Nigerian & Africa. In her journalistic career, she has covered and written many thought provoking articles and news stories pertaining to the Igbo and Nigerian cause. She is a member of Who’s Who in Media and Communications in America 1998-1999 edition. In 2005, she received a Citation of Merit from the then Bronx Borough President, Adolfo Carrion, Jr for her outstanding journalistic services to her community. A member of Nigerian Journalist, she is also the CEO of Tessy Tenderlings Daycare, Bronx, NY, USA. A devout christian, she is also a Lady Knight of St. Christopher Order of the Anglican Church.
